AUTOMOTIVE MASTER TECHNICIAN

Empire Ford is a growing, Family Owned and Operated, Auto Dealer/ Repair Shop in New Bedford, MA and looking for an experienced Master Technician to join our team. The Master Technician requires experience and technical expertise and is expected to use leadership and mentoring skills to help the team increase customer care and satisfaction. Pay Range: $80,000-$150,000/yr.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair to specifications — brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Perform job duties of all lower job descriptions (Technician A, Technician B, Mechanic, General Service Technician)
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain and organized and neat shop
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety, and environmental rules
• Have tools necessary to perform automotive repairs and diagnosis
Ford Automotive Technician Skills Required
• Strong willingness to learn, take direction to task and grow.
• 5+ years of strong automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience.
• 8 or more ASE certifications are PREFERRED for this position (A1 through A8)
• Section 609 Certification required
• State Inspection license if applicable
• Maintain a positive dynamic attitude
• Dependable and driven personality
• Strong time management skills
• Basic computer, email and internet proficiency
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Successful completion of drug screen

AUTOMOTIVE EXPRESS TECHNICIAN

$14.28 – $18.00 an hour – Full-time

Empire Ford of Fall River is searching for experienced Express service technicians to join our fast growing Service Department. We are a high volume, high energy team dedicated to delivering the best customer experience around. Candidates will be responsible mainly for express service performing maintenance and light repairs, vehicle inspections and determining future repair necessary. You will have the potential to earn up to 20% more than you are making at your current job, based on your experience and quality of work!

RECEPTIONIST/CASHIER/CUSTOMER SERVICE

We are looking for an individual to fill the position of a full-time receptionist / cashier / customer service employee. We are seeking an individual to work Monday-Thursday 10am-7pm and Saturday 8am-6pm who enjoys working with the public and has a friendly, outgoing personality. As a team-oriented company, we seek someone who can be flexible with their work hours. The ideal candidate is dedicated to provide exceptional customer service and display a positive attitude when interacting with customers and employees.

Must perform basic math skills to collect payments and make change. Must operate registers, scanners, credit card/debit card payment machines and must have basic computer skills. Will be required to handle refunds in a quick and efficient manner, maintain an accurate cash drawer and take a tally of the funds in the cash register at the end of the shift. You will also be answering phone calls and transferring to the correct department. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to multi task.
