That overthrow continues with the 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning as this new year introduces a host of new features and options. 2024 F-150 Lightning Flash Trim

The 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning provides value with its lower fuel and maintenance costs, and value shines with the new 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning Flash. This all-new trim level will fit between the F-150 Lightning XLT and Lariat trims and is the perfect option for tech-interested drivers. The Ford F-150 Lightning Flash adds the largest battery pack, a 15.5-inch touchscreen display, Blue Cruise hands-free driving technology, a premium audio system with subwoofer, and more without a huge jump in price from the XLT trim.

2024 F-150 Lightning Platinum Black Special Edition

The Ford F-150 Lightning hasn’t been around long, but it’s already receiving a special edition that we’re sure our customers will love. The 2024 F-150 Lightning Platinum Black models will add matte black body paint, 22-inch black wheels, matte black lugnuts, a smoked light bar, and gloss black roof paint for the exterior. Inside, the Platinum Black edition has black Nirvana leather seating and other unique elements. Ford bases all F-150 Lightning Platinum Black models on the Platinum trim, so you’ll find many other high-end elements, the 580-horsepower setup, and a 300-mile range in this Lightning special edition.

More Standard Features

The 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning adds a wide variety of standard features so that you get even more value from the base model and other trim levels. The Blue Cruise hands-free driving system is now in its 1.2 version, which means even smoother hands-free driving in your electric truck. The new Ford F-150 Lightning has keyless entry that will lock your truck when you walk away and unlock it when you’re close.

ProPower Onboard in the 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning

ProPower Onboard is one of the coolest features in the F-150 Lightning as it lets you use your electric truck and its battery as a mobile generator. This system is capable of running entire homes on the power from your F-150 Lightning, or you may just need it for powering lights while camping or tools on the job site. For 2024, ProPower Onboard activates when you unlock your truck, no longer requiring you to run your truck while using this terrific feature. If you own a 2022 or 2023 F-150 Lightning, over-the-air software updates will allow you to access this change.

Tesla Supercharger for Your Ford F-150 Lightning

2024 will also begin a partnership with Tesla that will allow Ford F-150 Lightning owners to charge their trucks at Tesla Superchargers, which have more than 12,000 locations around the country. Charging your F-150 Lightning at a Tesla Supercharger gives you even more freedom and ease as you drive your electric truck throughout New England and the rest of the country.
